THURSDAY, JANUARY 12 – TUESDAY, JANUARY 17, 2017
LOUISVILLE, KY (January 11, 2017) Guthrie Street between South Third and South Fourth Streets will be closed Thursday, January 12 through Tuesday January 17, 2017. Beginning Tuesday, January 17, one driving lane of Guthrie Street will be reopened for westbound traffic ONLY. Demolition of the (Kentucky One) building, between Guthrie and Chestnut Streets on the east side of South Fourth Street, will begin on January 23, 2017 and will be completed at the end of March 2017, with construction of the Fourth and Guthrie Apartment building to follow.
In addition, the sidewalk along the east side of Fourth Street, between Guthrie and Chestnut Streets, will be closed throughout the entirety of the project.The south sidewalk along Guthrie Street and the north sidewalk along Chestnut Street will also be closed through the entirety of the project.
The project is expected to be completed in May 2018.
